I must say, the matter of parking is quite the concern around these parts. The historical landmark draws in quite the crowd, you see, and it can be a tad tricky to find a spot for your carriage. Perhaps some additional signage or designated areas would do just the trick to alleviate this quandary.

Just a stone's throw away from the bus stand, you'll find what may just be the finest clothing and food market in Jind. (At least, from my many visits, it seems that way). It's named after a quaint village, and I wouldn't dare to judge an entire geographical area based on just a shop or two. Hence, my modest three-star rating. By the way, don't miss out on trying some of the Muradabadi chicken shops around here. They are quite delightful. Cheers!

Lovely.

Great spot.
There are many wholesale market items here and the Old Jind City also exists here. It's a bustling road, always crowded.
The location is wonderful and the atmosphere is amazing, so I highly recommend this place.
The city has many places, but this one is exceptional.

This place is quite interesting, but one thing to keep in mind is that the traffic can get quite heavy during the day, especially in the evenings.

A quintessential marketplace in Jind. You can find the famous Jind Boora there. Numerous wholesale shops abound. Nearby, you'll discover renowned eateries such as Ankur Chat Bandar.

The area is bustling with activity, making it not advisable to navigate by car. Parking space is limited, often requiring vehicles to park along the roadside.

Jhanj Gate has been recently christened as Shiv Chowk, featuring a prominent Shiv temple right at the chowk itself.

Stationery wholesalers also line the streets in this vibrant locale.

One of the finest locales in Jind city for a food enthusiast... Indulge in the Tadka Rolls & Cheese Chilly at Batra's... Or savor the chole tikki and burger at Ankur's... Delight in the flavored Pans at Pan's Corner... Or relish the Chicken Soup from Nikka's... Or treat yourself to the Butter Chicken at Ramji's... Don't miss the Mango Ice-cream at Dua's or the Spicy Egg-maggi and Vanilla Ice-cream at Bittu's... The bottom line is, this is the place to be if you wish to immerse yourself in the city's culinary delights...
Austin Perry (20/07/25, 5:08 am):
This location was christened in honor of an ancient king. Legend has it that the emperor once resided in this city, which was fortified by numerous gates leading off in various directions. The Jhanj Gate, as it came to be known over time, holds a place of distinction among them.
